Events
The night before the race, the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce hosts a meet and greet during packet pick up. Enjoy food, drinks and sharing stories with the volunteers who will be working the emergency and aid stations! On the day of the race, enjoy a free meal with fellow competitors. Awards will be given following the event.
Throughout the year you can see an abundance of wildlife ranging from Bald Eagles to elk! Cameron County hosts another race in the spring on the water! It is the Canoe and Kayak Classic which draws 200 participants each year.
Each June snake hunters take to the mountains in search of the longest and heaviest rattle snake in the state! Sinnemahoning also hosts the coyote Hunt in February.
Enjoy breakfast with Santa, sipping hot cocoa on the street while purchasing gifts for Christmas! This event is the second Saturday of December
Cameron County celebrates the nations birthday on the first Saturday of July. The mountains provide the spot to show off the 45 minute display...and those mountains create an ear splitting echo!
